Hi all, Im Bagstar otherwise known as Bags and Birdsnest master is a friend of mine who I fish with nearly all the time. I hope to leave as many post's as possible on our sea fishing adventures here and keep you all up to date on our new mission for this winter to bag a decent sized Cod. I have travelled around many beaches on the south coast with Birdsnest and caught many different species of fish but still cannot seem to catch a Cod so hopefully this will be the winter that it all happens.

Im Bagstar a 28 year old dedicated shore fisherman from Southampton. Im very lucky to have a fiancee who moans a little about my addiction to fishing but does put up with it and a good mate to fish along side by the name of Birdsnest Master. I have been into fishing for 20 years since my dad took me for the very 1st time when i was 8. I started freshwater fishing but soon found this to easy and decided that i prefered the challenge of beach fishing. When your fishing freshwater you always know that the fish are there but when it comes to the sea its a far bigger place.
